何でこんな変な区切り方をするの？
英語の歌って、意味としてのまとまりと、一息で歌う部分が違うことが多いんだよね。
なのでオレ、英語の歌を覚える際は、自分が歌いやすいように区切って覚えています。
英語学習的にはこれが正解かどうかは分からないけど、いいの、自分が覚えやすければ。
で、この曲のポイントは、早口でダダダッと歌う、
every night, you do
something I didn’t know
you could do
の部分だと思う。
この部分をさりげなく歌えるようになるまで、繰り返し繰り返し、何千回でも練習しよう！
ちなみに、onlyの前のtheを「ジ」と発音していないのも面白い。会話の場合と違って、歌の場合はこのパターンが多いんだよね〜。
